As sales of existing houses in Central Ohio have declined for much of the past year, the Columbus Board of Realtors has been quick to comment that the slide isn’t nearly as severe as in other areas.
The organization on Wednesday unveiled a $200,000 advertising campaign to back up that claim.
Board Chairman Greg Hrabcak said the organization will begin a 90-day “The Grass is Greener Here” campaign that will including spending $191,000 on 36 billboard ads along with spots on radio, television, in newspapers and on the Internet. When the campaign begins, the board also will launch www.columbushousingfacts.com, a Web site designed to educate potential homebuyers about the area market.
